Thank you for voicing what you did in your post.
Just my thoughts #BellLetsNotTalk the trend in corporations jumping on the mental health bandwagon is because they’re trying to address their growing loss of revenue as employees drop like flies from the increasing pressure to “multitask” and “do more with less” After cutbacks or refusal to hire the correct amount of people to run a department etc.

Just disclosing ADHD to colleagues at my “progressive… top employer in the mental health sector…” blew up in my face in so many ways and also resulted in bullying from insecure peers thrilled at finally having a “weakness” on me.
I’m so glad I never spoke of My cptsd.

I’m a public servant in mental health advocacy- and nowhere have I seen a poorer, more dismissive attitude towards it in their own employees.

I’ve been off on medical leave for Exhaustion and Vicarious Trauma and bullying retriggering my cptsd

Sorry fat thumbs —- I’ve Been off of 1 year now and my employer treated me like a failure for the discard pile once I was no longer making them look good. It was a huge eye opener. The world is not suddenly full of support for mental health just because we’re beginning to acknowledge it.

      Regards,
      ?
