About CPTSD Warrior

CPTSD Warrior is a survivor-led space dedicated to supporting people living with complex PTSD and healing from complex trauma.

My name is Wanda, and I founded CPTSD Warrior as a place where survivors can feel less alone, more understood, and gently supported as they navigate life with CPTSD. After decades of living in survival mode, questioning my own reality, and trying to make sense of my symptoms, I eventually discovered that I was living with complex PTSD, and everything finally clicked into place.

My healing began long before I had a name for what I was experiencing. But naming it opened a door: to understanding, to compassion, and to the slow, steady work of reconnecting with my body, my voice, and my sense of safety.

This website grew out of that journey.

For the past ten years, I have shared parts of my healing process online as CPTSD Warrior, offering grounding practices, nervous system education, somatic regulation tools, and reflections from my own complex trauma recovery. I have spent over thirty years on my own healing journey and have poured that lived experience into everything I create here.

Through CPTSD Warrior, I share:

Healing from complex trauma is not linear, and it is not something we rush. My intention is not to fix anyone or provide all the answers. CPTSD Warrior is a place to land, breathe, and learn at your own pace, a place to feel understood without judgment.

Alongside my lived experience, I bring a strong foundation of trauma-informed and somatic training. I am a certified trauma-informed coach, a certified somatic coach, and a trauma-informed educator with over twenty years of experience in education and social development. I have studied with and drawn from leaders in trauma recovery including Dr. Peter Levine, Deb Dana, Pete Walker, and Bessel van der Kolk, and I continue to deepen my understanding of nervous system regulation and somatic healing.

CPTSD Warrior is not therapy and does not replace mental health support. It is a companion on the healing journey, a survivor-led guide offering tools, knowledge, and validation to help you reconnect with yourself gently and safely.
