Introducing CPTSD Warrior Healing Society

Over the past ten years, CPTSD Warrior has grown from a YouTube channel and blog into something much larger than I could have ever imagined.

What started as one survivor speaking about complex trauma has become a community of people who are learning, healing, and supporting one another.

Today, I want to share something important.

I have incorporated a nonprofit organization called CPTSD Warrior Healing Society.

Why a nonprofit?

Because healing from complex trauma should not depend on whether someone can afford access to support, education, or healing resources.

The purpose of the Society, as written in our constitution, is:

  • To provide free, trauma-informed support, education, and resources to people living with CPTSD, with a focus on Indigenous people and culturally grounded body-based healing practices.
  • To create and maintain an accessible online resource hub offering grounding tools, somatic practices, and community informed materials that support the healing journeys of survivors of complex trauma.

The CPTSD Warrior Healing Society is also committed to amplifying survivor voices, promoting emotional safety, reducing stigma, supporting helping professionals, and fostering connection.

The CPTSD Warrior Healing Society exists to provide accessible, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded education and resources for survivors of complex trauma and the people who support them.

This nonprofit will serve as the umbrella organization that allows us to:

• Build a free resource hub for survivors
• Apply for grants to expand access
• Create educational materials grounded in body based and trauma-informed approaches
• Support professionals who want to better understand CPTSD
• Grow sustainably and transparently

CPTSD Warrior will continue as a survivor-led platform. Trauma Informed Education Services (TIES) will continue offering training and professional education. The CPTSD Warrior Healing Society allows us to expand the free and low-cost support side of this work.

This step matters to me personally.

As someone who discovered in my mid 40s that much of my life had been shaped by complex trauma, I know how isolating that realization can be. I also know how life-changing it is to find language, tools, and community that make sense of your experience.

CPTSD Warrior Healing Society exists so that more people can find that support without shame, without gatekeeping, and without having to navigate it alone.

If you are already subscribed to this blog, thank you for being part of this journey.

If you would like to receive updates when new resources are released, you can join the new CPTSD Warrior email list here:

More is coming.

Thank you for being here.
